Australian born and Canadian raised Rob O’Toole alway had an affinity towards the arts; “I used to like to draw with my Dad, who was a painter, as I was growing up.” Throughout school he always spent time in any art classes that were available.
After finishing school, Rob found art to be a therapeutic release after a close friend passed. Spending much of his time drawing, writing, and finding different mediums to expand into.
He soon developed a clothing line and took his business across Canada, selling custom items at concerts and venues along the way.
When Rob finally got his feet on the ground he was inspired to start airbrushing. He felt that he could easily adapt his disciplines to creating custom airbrush designs. He soon found himself seeking out new ways to display his art. He was commissioned to paint motorcycle tanks and fenders. He also started salvaging old refrigerators and painting custom designed themes on them.
Soon people were taking notice of this new found artistic outlet. Rob then started to be commissioned for portrait airbrushing, thus developing his “themed” concept design.
Today, Rob is taking orders for custom airbrushed fridges and airbrush portrait work on anything you can imagine, from school gymnasiums, bedroom walls, vehicles and the aforementioned fridges!
We are just now starting to build a portfolio to his rapidly expanding collection of works. Stay tuned as we will be adding more pictures as they are done!
